Climate Finance operates across three key verticals:

• Mitigation (goal) - we must pursue feasible goals targeting a future balance between renewable and non-renewable resources, namely energy, in order to live in optimal balance between the natural and built environments.

• Adaptation (activity) - we must 'adapt' or change human activities to stop the harm, re-direct the waste, and secure a prosperous future for all of Earth's inhabitants

• Resilience (goal) - we must pursue feasible goals targeting a future condition in which humans and nature live in better harmony - the human-induction of global climate change brings more extreme events and chronic hazards that will undermine and decimate our potential from preventing, responding, and recovering from disaster.

 

What's lesser known is that climate finance is just finance - same mechanism, same design, same structure - the innovative 'layer' is climate data and analytical capabilities.
